“Oh come, let us sing to the Lord; let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation! Let us come into his presence with thanksgiving; let us make a joyful noise to him with songs of praise!” – Psalm 95:1-2

The Our Savior’s Lutheran Church Adult Choir sings a variety of styles from rational hymn based anthems to classical favorites. We have also been known to dabble in spirituals and jazz!

Currently, this group typically utilized 16 singers with a variety of ages and experience. New singers are always welcome, with no audition or previous experience required. Because important ensemble information is covered at each rehearsal members are asked to attend rehearsals on a regular basis.

Important Notes

  • The Choir had been inactive during the pandemic, but it is returning for EASTER!  Below is the history of expectations that will be re-evaluated at that time.
  • The Choir season is September through May.
  • Rehearsals are Thursday evenings from 7:00 – 8:30 pm.
  • The Adult Choir sings an anthem two Sundays each month. On these Sundays the Choir meets upstairs in the choir room at 9:00 am to warm-up and run-through that day’s anthem.
  • The Adult Choir also sings for special services such as Ash Wednesday, Good Friday, Christmas Eve, and Easter Sunday!

If you have a song in your heart and want to sing God’s praises then come to a rehearsal and see if the Our Savior’s Lutheran Church Adult Choir is the place for you!
